Mayor's Cup Introduction

The purpose of the Irvine Mayor's Cup is to offer a fun, exciting opportunity for the two Irvine AYSO Regions - Region 144 (South Irvine) and Region 213 (North Irvine) - to have a friendly competition to determine a "City Champion Region" for the current year.

The first Irvine Mayor's Cup was held in 2001 when John Conners was Regional Commissioner of Region 144 (South Irvine) and Rob Ferguson was Regional Commissioner of Region 213 (North Irvine). Thus, this is the 17th annual Irvine Mayor's Cup.

Pictures will be taken at Plaza Park located at 610 Paseo Westpark, Irvine, 92606. Click HERE for a link to Google Maps.

Team Manager and/or Coach Instructions

  • Remind players that soccer balls are not required - leave them in the car or bag. Do not bring them into the picture area.
  • Line up the team in order from tallest player to shortest player.
  • Please notify the volunteer sending teams in after your team is ready to go.
  • Remind parents: they are not to be taking pictures of their own.
  • Pick up the Mayor's Cup items for the team after the pictures have been taken.
